first post here...since I'm just getting my first Boogie
Anyways, I'm thinking of trading for a Road King, that I already got try out...it sounds awesome, especially channels 3 and 4.
However there´s a problem! The progressive linkage thingy for channel four does not seem to work properly...if I set the switch to 2x6l6 mode, the amp starts to make this electronic loud crackle kind of sound and no guitar sound at all. This happens only for channel four and with the 2x6l6 mode, every other mode is ok and with all other channels the 2x6l6 mode is ok.
So, the question is...any ideas what this could be about (broken switch maybe), has anyone ever had similar problems, should I skip the trade (the original owner says his gonna pay the repair)?
