Hello!
I'm looking at running in stereo and I don't know where to start. What power amp goes will with the Mark IV? I heard the Simul-class is really good but I don't really want to spend 800 for a power amp. What do you guys think pairs well with the mkiv?

Thanks!

Both the 50/50 and 2:90 pair well. You should be able to get a 50/50 for about $400 or a 2:90 for $600.

Some people also like the 20/20, which is a good choice if you don't need LOTS of volume. I personally thought it was a bit mushy, and preferred the 50/50. YMMV.

If you're going all-out, you could set up W/D/W and use an inexpensive solid-state power amp for the Wet channels. This is very common. Probably, even a W/D system would be fine that way. So your monster dry tone goes thru the Mark IV unaffected and the FX are solid-state anyway.
