EDIT: I'm a dope. Relay A grounds the output of V3A, muting the Lead Channel. Nothing is mixed in after the the FX loop. I realize I'm talking to myself at this point, but I didn't want to confuse anyone.

I'm planning a new amp build, and am considering a MkIIB as inspiration.

The preamp is rather strange in that the Lead channel is mixed in, out of phase, into the Clean signal path, and AGAIN after the FX Loop (although in phase at that point). But perhaps I'm reading the schematic incorrectly.

Anyway, my question is: does the Lead Drive (when disengaged) still affect the Clean channel? It appears as though it does, since Relay A is - from what I can tell - where Lead channel is switched out of circuit.

Here's the schematic for reference -

Thanks!

Also, does anyone know the value of the cathode bypass cap on V3A (Lead Bright)? I'm guessing a 0.22uF like all other Mk's from IIC+ onward.

Thanks again :)
