I just purchased it and had it professionally installed on a Music Man Axis because the wiring diagram is nebulous at best to try to do it yourself. After a day, I noticed 2 huge headaches:
1) These pots are not "audio taper pots" which lower volume consistently over the entire knob turn without bleeding the highs off in the process. Instead, they are "log" or linear taper pots which muffle the high end frequencies if not at full volume and will not bleed volume off consistently.
2) After repeated cleanings with contact cleaner, the pot is extremely noisy and is REALLY noisy on high gain applications any time you spin it.
Yes, the kill function is pretty cool. Instead, save your money and aggravation and install an aftermarket momentary switch rather than sacrifice tone. Stay away from this stinker.
