Yamaha RGX 312

Hey all,
My son wants a guitar for Christmas. I found a Yamaha RGX 312 for $100.00. It is H/s/s with coil tap. Seems like a no-brainer, but I thought I'd ask here because I have no experience with Yamaha electrics. What do you think?
