I recently purchased a Mark IV and the 80hz slider doesn't work.
I pulled the module, and it turns out that there's an open connection in the 1h inductor - if you squeeze the legs together, you get conduction, but not if you just test without squeezing.

So, I need a new 1h inductor, and Mesa won't return my calls.
the only place I've found that actually sells the correct part is the Tube Amp Doctor, and he wants 14 euros, PLUS shipping from Europe.
I know that the actual part is tiny and cheap - I just can't find them anywhere in the US.
Any help is appreciated.

Mesa will return your call, eventually. They get backed up but they wll call. I'm certain that they will have the parts you need as well.
Give it a little time man.... :!:

They actually called me back about 10 minutes ago.
It's weird dealing with Mesa - I'm used to dealing with companies who use the phrase "We'll call you right back" to blow you off.
I've never had a company actually call me back.

And this, friends, is why I own more Mesa amps than any other manufacturer.

nono...mesa ALWAYS calls back. they take care of their **** over there.

For the single 1h inductor, it was like $13, but I think that most of the cost was for shipping.
