When did Taurus vinyl debut?

I just bought a vertical 2x12, with an odd combination of features. It's got the metal grille, open top/closed-ported bottom, and "Mesa/Boogie" badge like the '80s cabs, but it's covered in Taurus with the leather corner protectors and has a current "4 ohms mono/8 ohms stereo" jackplate ("2-12CB") and track-lock casters.

Speakers are MC-90s and date to September of 1993.

I'm figuring it must be a VERY early example of Taurus.
