Well.. Been having fun wailing away on my amp, but I've run into an issue recently that I was wondering if anyone could help me out with.

2 Channel Triple Rectifier.

Whenever I power it on and start playing clean or high gain, I get this sort of lower sounding popping noise. It sort of sounds like I'm trying to plug the amp in, but think of it as more of a low popping (similar to a crackling type sound). When this happened I immediately flipped it to stand by and there was further popping as the volume faded out and then I flipped the amp off completely. I tried it with a different cab (different ohms and all) and the same thing happened. This just started today and nothing has changed at all.

I even tried different cables, a different guitar but the same thing happened. I then switched to a different head in the same setup and the popping stopped.

Any idea?
