Hey guys... Its late, I'm tired so I'm sorry if none of this makes sense :p

I have a Kramer Focus 6000 guitar (with Floyd Rose Tremolo) and was going to throw a Dimarzio FRED in the bridge, but its a "\tilted\" pickup cavity.

Which version should I get? the FRED-F (for the Floyd Rose) or the regular one? But its tilted!...would it matter?

My question is what is the tonal difference between a tilted humbucker and a parallel humbucer to the bridge?

Thanks!

Strickly a guess here. I would think that a tilted pickup would have wider spaced poles and if it were a humbucker the coils may be stagered a bit. I would contact the manufacturer of the pick up you want to change to and ask the what the appropiate one is for your application.

I would have thought it was the other way round.

Just mesure what you have now and check the f spaces specs and go from there.
