So when I was jamming with my C+ today suddenly the lead channel disappeared, so I had to find the culprit, and removed the amp from the chassis and took a look inside. Everything was looking as it shoul. The Rhythm channel worked as it should so I started removing each preamp tube, and ended with tube 4.
Anyway, this post is not about my preamp tube failure, but I finally decided to do something I have wanted for a long time.
TO MAKE THE PREAMP TUBES ACCESSIBLE FROM THE FRONT
Tools need;
a handsaw that's small enough to get into the headshell.
Paint, and brush if you want it to look professional.
Skills to do it :lol:

Ready for the handsaw, notice that the fan isn't mounted in center of the chassis.
I removed the reverb tank as well to avoid any dust in the tank.

Finished and painted to make it look professional. The mounting brackets for the fan are the original ones turned upside down. New holes had to be drilled though.

Ready and preamp tubes are easy accesible.

Turn off the lights and bang your metalheads :lol:
