I was at GC in Johnson City NY (near Binghamton NY) yesterday checking out some gear, and saw a used Mesa Solo 50 Recto Head ($899) and 4x12 Metal Plate cab. What struck me was that the knobs weren't the usual rounded silver ones with the dimple, but had a raised line that protruded out from the knob. Reminded of the knobs on the old 60's-70's AM/FM clock radios. I didn't think of checking the SR#, but wondered if this was one of the old coveted early Recto heads. I'm set with my MKIV, but thought I would pass this info along in case anyone was interested. Take it easy! 8)

I don't believe that the early revision changes found on the Dual Rectifier apply to the single rectifier.
