I don't think so. The C+'s lead circuit is spread across 2 tubes- V3B and V4A. Both of those failing at the same time is not common. Then again, it could be the first stage, and whatever comes out of that cascades onto the second stage and sounds crappy.

oh well. Just change the tubes, and see where it takes you.

EDIT-- It could also be one, or two bad LDR's for the lead switching circuit.
