Anyone out there know how to troubleshoot a faulty MK IV footswitch system??
I'm well qualified for troubleshooting the [analog] signal networks, but I'm not well-versed with "logic" networks. The amp works fine, switching channels/effects manually, or using the "external switching" ¼" jacks, but in the "footswitch" mode, the unit's "frozen" in the lead channel. All the leads [& the XLR] on the footswitch cable are fine, and the 5 V. regulator is working fine. It seems impossible to directly contact Mesa for assistance these days, and I'm in the dark as to where to go from here........HELP!!
