NAD!
Well, actually I have had this for about a month but haven't had the chance to post it.

So, I finally joined the Mesa family. Originally I walked into a GC and played a used 3 channel Dual rec and was floored. I guess I had never really played one and didn't really fully appreciate the Rectifier series. So when I played the Dual I just loved it and decided I had to have one.

So I unloaded an amp, a guitar, some FX and went on the quest. I really was only planning on buying used as these beasts are hella expensive. Then I was considering a Mini Rec for a while but then I came across this monster. A 2010 Mesa Dual Rec Roadster. The functionality of this amp is awesome.
I was able to pick this up used so I didn't have to pay a full kings ransom for it, Thankfully

4 channels, assignable 50/100 watts per channel as well as FX loop, diode or tube rectification.

I am currently running it through a Genz Benz G-flex 2x12 cab with Vintage 30's. It is pretty cool. Although I am not a real big fan of the V30's and might be looking for something else. I did recently play it through a Krankenstein 4X12 with Texas Heats and it was awesome.

Anyway, here is a couple pics. This one has a tube cage I have not seen before on Mesas.

Channels 3 & 4 are just killer but I was somewhat underwhelmed with 1 & 2. The Clean is good but the drive is a little lacking. the Tweed setting on channel 1 and the Brit setting on Channel 2 just seem a little anemic, but I picked it up for the crush of 3&4.

I am currently running an MXR 10-band in the loop and experimenting with an OD in front. I tried a cheap Deltalab tube overdrive and it sounded great then the pedal died. I tried a digitech Screamin' Blues and it also sounds good. I tried a EH LPB-1 liner power boost and it sounded crappy. I may go with the typical tube screamer but we'll see. maybe a bad monkey.

Roadsters kick ***. I would highly recommend you play it through a Mesa Cab. It really does make a HUGE difference.

Awesome! I'd definitely try it with the Mesa cab. I've seen them go used for as little as $400 on craigslist (though you have to look hard at that price). The Roadster is an awesome amp!

Congrats and HNAD
That roadster looks sweet, and like the others have said, once you get a mesa cab, there's no going back...
