Hey everyone,
I just recently bought a mod kit from Monsta-Tone for my DC-5B. I purchased the more/less gain mod; because that is the easiest mod to do, and I just wanted to see how hard a amplifier is to modify compared to effects pedals. The mod was ridiculously easy to complete, and I achieved excellent results after wards.
I chose to add more gain, and now my amp has so much more awesome saturation and I really did not have to sacrifice much clarity and tightness.
All I have to say is... Everyone should buy mod kits from Andy (Monsta-Tone). He is a great guy to do business with. He shipped my mod kit as soon as he received my paypal payment, and I received it in under a week. He was great with giving me all the information about all the different mods available. He just provides extremely hard to find customer service.
Well that's my shameless plug for the day.
