Hello!

I have small problem with reverb. It is so small, that it took almost one year until I noticed the problem!

But first I have to explain what is my system.

EM Custom system Step looper/midi controller with EM Custom Mark V midi interface.

Preset 1 named clean: Channel 1, Fat mode bold, Reverb 11 o'clock, 90 Watts, EQ preset 8 o'clock, (Boss DM-2 Delay, Boss VB-2w Vibrato, Lovepedal Pickle Vibe Mooer E-Lady, Mooer Triangolo available)

Preset 2 named crunch: Channel 2, Crunch mode, Reverb 10 o'clock, 90 Watts, EQ off, (Boss DM-2 Delay, Boss VB-2w Vibrato, Lovepedal Pickle Vibe Mooer E-Lady, Mooer Triangolo available)

Preset 3 named lead eq: Channel 3, Mark IIC+ mode normal, triode, 90 Watts, EQ slider, reverb off, (Boss DC-3 Digital Dimension always on, Boss HF-2 Hi Band Flanger and Boss HR-2 Harmonist available)

Preset 4 named lead rev: Channel 3, Mark IIC+ mode normal, triode, 90 Watts, EQ off, reverb 9 o'clock, (Boss DD-5 Digital Delay, Boss CE-2 Chorus, Boss OC-2 Octave, Jim Dunlop Q535 Crybaby available)

Preset B named solo: Channel 3, Mark IIC+ mode normal, triode, 90 Watts, EQ off, reverb 9 o'clock, solo on, (Boss DD-5 Digital Delay, Boss CE-2 Chorus, Boss OC-2 Octave, Jim Dunlop Q535 Crybaby available)

Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor and Boss RC-2 Loop Station are available to all presets. Only one bank is currently used. Full power.

Switch A is tap tempo for Digital Delay and Loop Station.

So, amount of reverb varies depending on which preset is selected. I have noticed, that when I switch for example from preset 3 (Reverb off) to preset 1 (Reverb 11 o'clock), it takes about 2 seconds until the reverb effect is full. So, there is 2 seconds delay until reverb effect is what is the knob setting. This is not a big problem, but I wonder if anybody else have this problem.

Hello.

I think it’s within boundaries of normal operation  the channels/modes have completely different amounts of reverb available and when channel is changed there’s mute circuit that fades the reverb send back in after some time.

Here some other user said the same.

And one user suggested, that reverb behaves like that when channels have different wattages.

It looks like reverb is designed to have cut when changing channels.

I don't mind that.

This case is closed.
