Hey Guys,

Thought you fine lads would enjoy this.
I recently uploaded a track from our album (Paradigm) which is coming out next year entitled 'Mind Is Key'. We are from Sydney, Australia.

Everything you hear on this track was recorded using my Suhr Custom Standard, including all the clean parts. Straight into a Mesa/Boogie Mark V.
Pickups are Doug Aldrich in the bridge and SSV+ in the neck.
A wonderful combination. Balls to the wall / Gibson warmth.

Check it out, I'd love to know what you guys think also, feedback is always welcome. I uploaded some of 'the making' of the album videos on here a while back. Thanks for all the positive and kind words on them too!

Enjoy \m/\m/

Sick material, man! You got some really nice tones going on with the Mark V there. Thanks for sharing!

awesome stuff man, I'll keep my eyes out for you guys. That first behind the scenes thingy I watched like 4 times throughout today. Excellent playing would love to be able to rip like that.
can't wait to hear more, not sure if the vocals are going to hook my style, but digging the musicianship so far.

Thank you guys. I appreciate the kind words and support of fellow music lovers.
Should have some more soon, album should be out Jan 2012.
Very humbled! Keep the feedback coming.

I'm really digging the tones, they are aggressive, not super saturated, and articulate; just like I like it. :) Would you be willing to share your settings and what modes were used?

Thanks heaps guys :D
@DWAKO
Yeah, it is very articulate, and it's my dream amp.
Here's a picture of my settings below.
I used a little less gain in the recording itself, more around 1oclock.
Here it's around 2-3oclock which is more the way I have it for live and rehearsals.
Channel 1 (bold) and 2 (crunch) I run most of the time in 40w mode with Tube Power.
Channel 3 I use at 90w (MARKIV BRIGHT) with Solicone Diode power. For tight and punchy tracking at high gain.
I only use the EQ on the third channel. I have the highs shaved off a bit as you can see.
The Equalization in the channel and the EQ strip are really different.
The bass sounds way more subtle in the front than the EQ, so I can take bass out of channel three for tight gain sounds, but then add it back in as overall 'weight' in the slider eq.
For this purpose the Mark V is amazing and an extremely powerful amplifier. If you like fiddling with things, (as I do!)

Hope this has been helpful!

Thanks again for the kinds words, spread the song around and share it!

Wow, congrats on achieving that tone. It's perfect and you can hear everything clearly. The Mark V sound is awesome. I've had one for two days now and it's going to take a while to dial it in.

(Late reply).

Thanks for all the kind words fellas. Really humbled to know you guys are hearing it and enjoying it :)
Means a lot.

The Mark V seriously owns. I've really tried to like other 'ultimate' amps, but they fail hard.
It's the business as far as I'm concerned!

- James.
