Mark III help (valve help)

Dose anyone know what V2 dose in my Mark III?

I know V3 is lead, 4 is reverb, 5 is phase inverter, but I'm stuck on 2. I assume it is the r1/r2 valve? help please!

I believe it's the efx loop send and return tube. It may do some other things too but I'm not sure.

Check out Maarten van Helden's website (Tubefreak). He's got most of Mesa's schematics there: Tubefreak

The MKIII is listed there as well. The pictures of the schematics are a bit grainy but you should be able to figure out which tube does what. I recommend you to add his website to your bookmarks.
