I wonder if mesa can mod our ver 1's to have the new 1&2 channel preamp's? I really don't want the new effects loops so that would be the ultimate?

No-Can-Do.... I asked them a few months ago and they said that it's a different chassis and circuit board and everything is moved around inside to make room for the extra tube and other stuff.
