One more reason to prefer vintage Boogies over newer ones...

Until a solder repair is needed. Then in 10~15yrs go find the one solder pad that was repaired.

And Murphy's Law states that the blown area will be identified as the cause of the problem which will be away from the whisker area that is the root of the problem.

Shorter whiskers sound sterile and have fizz.
