Dual Rectos and M13 tube screamers

Hi, I am curious if anyone using a Line 6 M13 is running the tube screamer model into the front end of the amp like you would a traditional boost pedal?

If so, how do you like the sound? Is it very different than the real thing? Is it reasonable/passable? I know many people use the TS9, maxon OD808, BB preamp etc, etc,. I just wonder how it compares.

I like the idea of an M13 with 4 cable method to route the ODs to the front of the amp and the time based stuff inthe loop but if it doesn't sound good then it doesn't matter.

I'm not using a Line 6, but I am using a Boss ME50 (digital), and I have to say it works really well for a boost, plus the noise gate and compressor adds some serious benefits for high gain on my eight string.
