Dual Rectifer with Joyo PXL as a channel switcher??

Hey HAPPY NEW YEAR! lol Has anyone here tried to use the Joyo PXL-pro to change the channels on a Dual Rectifier via the trigger controls of the Joyo? I am pretty interested in it(even tho I am projecting that I would end up running like seven guitar cables to the unit...guitar to Joyo, Joyo to amp, 2 for the send and return, and then three for the channels of the amp...I'd just leave the effects loop on all the time and forget the solo boost) from what I gather the PXL would be able to do this but I was just seeing if anyone here had any real word experience before I tried to acquire one lol
