On my DC3 I can set it so that the footswitch controls the eq; but it still only comes on for the lead channel. I can also set it for rhythm and lead. There is a switch on front for rhythm channel/lead channel select, with center detent being footswitch controlled; and on the back there is a switch for eq on lead, or rhythm + Lead.
On a DC5, I don't see a way to do this, unless I'm missing something. The options are On both, Off both, Lead, rhythm, FTSWTCH. So it seems that if you are using the footswitch to turn the eq on and off, its going to come on and off whichever channel happens to be selected at the footswitch; i.e. you can't set it to come on only the lead channel with the footswitch.
Is this accurate? Any difference between the A and B versions on this?
