I'm looking to replace my berhinger rack tuner (worst tuner ever). I dunno which way to go. I hesitate between korg dtr 1000 and the Peterson stroborack. Any1 knows which one is better and why? Also I don't see any reason to pay extre for korg 2000 but if u think I should enlighten me...

IMO the Peterson is the way to go. I've found that Korg's normally run a few cents sharp, but they're all equally off so if everyone uses that tuner it's not problem

Bump!

No one can vouch for the korg? Any1 else switched from korg to Peterson?

I had a Korg 1000 and my buddy just got the Peterson. The Peterson is so effing accurate. If you can afford it, the Peterson is the only way to go.

I also own a Berhinger Rack Tuner and I agree it is a piece of junk (decent metronome + terrible tuner in a cheap plastic case). I've heard the Korg rack units are rock solid. I should have gone that route.
