I have a friend's .22 caliber from the mid 1980s (PCB says 1985 on it), which supposedly has all of it's original components. I have fixed a handful of blown components (a few resistors) and broken wires/burnt traces, and am now troubleshooting it's functionality.

The amp has no output signal at all (and is dead quiet) when connected to an 8 ohm speaker, DI out, or injecting signals in send/return. I have tried the patch cable between send/return with no change.
I have a fresh set of all tubes (5x preamp and 2x power tubes) installed and all tubes are glowing.

I measure what appears to be reasonable voltages from the power transformer. However, all of the preamp tubes are measuring -2.65VDC at pin 1 (-2.9VDC at pin 6) which I think is odd. Based on the schematic they should be in the 110VDC to 160VDC range and not negative.

Thoughts?

I ended up finding and fixing the problem -- the standby switch wiring was faulty so the amp wasn't turning "on" when flipping the standby switch on. The tubes are getting powered properly now and the amp sounds great / works fine.
