Rectifier 4x12 wiring: anyone go from stock p/s to s/p?

I got a new dust cover for my cab and it totally improved the tone. Even <REDACTED> can't make up which way he prefers mesa branded covers. Your opinions are worthless if you disagree with my take. Edit: I have just found out EVH passed away. RIP

Looking for Enter Sandman tone settings on Mark 35.

I'd guess 0-11 scale since he has Mid at '0'

Quiet Channel switching Mod for 3-Ch rectos

Cool idea, I've never had an issue with the channel switching on my early 3ch dual, but I know I've heard from a lot of people who complain about it.

Which Mesa would you choose (Nomad 100 Head or 50. Caliber + Rack)

Almost 1000 euros for a Nomad is WAYYYYYY too much. Not a good amp, avoid that one.

The potential of the underrated 3ch Dual Rectifier!

I've had mine since 2006. Got it used, I think it was made in 2000, 2001. Great amp.

Help installing tubes in a Rev G

Definitely check out the manual, but as far as installing them, its a good idea to wear gloves so you don't get any oil from your fingers on them. The matched 6L6s will go in the two interior and two exterior slots like 1,2,2,1 where the 1s are one pair and the 2s are another pair. When you...

Eventually they may need to be replaced. My Dual Rec is about 20 years old and still has the original caps.

Rectoverb 25 : Fade/gap problem when switching channels

I know switching through the channels a couple times before playing seems to help the popping, does that help the fade problem you experience?

    Rectoverb 50 Combo Fizzy Distortion

To me, gain at 2-3 oclock is 'crazy.' I know that is totally up to preference. The treble (high) EQ stage is very sensitive too. Perhaps try rolling back the treble and presence too and see how that sounds.

Single Rectifier Solo Head Version 2

I'm glad to hear. The Tung Sol in v1 is a pretty universal preference, myself included. Enjoy the amp!

    Output vs. Master (nomenclature question)

For the Dual Rec anyways, they have the individual channels 'Master' volume and the output and solo levels. Since the solo/output function is not always active, it makes sense not to call that the 'master' volume.

Help With Triple Rect Year Built, Serial Number, Generations

Is this a multiwatt model? If not, it's got to be late into the run of the original 3 channel, probably made about 10 years ago or so. You can pull the chassis to get the date of manufacture.
