    Mark V FX volume drop

    I don't use the FX send but when I do turn it on it drops the volume a lot and sounds distorted if its on Channel 1. I changed the number 6 valve and it still the same. Is there another tube that could be causing this problem?

    New/Used Mark V Sound from rear. Not the fan.

    I just got a used Mark V a few days ago. Yesterday I had the amp on standbye and turned off the fan I noticed that the amp makes noise similar to a gas stove running(thats my best way to explain it) coming from the rear. Is this normal?     I have a Roadster head and love this **** amp. I have a Mesa Standard/Oversize Angle 4x12. I just recently got a Mesa 2x12 cab.
