FS: in Portland OR - Electra Dyne Wide Combo (PU only)

Well, I hate that it has come to this, but I must let her go. Purchased brand new in October of last year and never gigged and/or moved since I lugged it upstairs! Not a scratch on it - still with original tubes and all paperwork. You would still have 3 3/4 left on the 5 year warranty! You...

Anyone remember the Mesa Boogie Heartbreaker?

I have had an Electra Dyne since October and just love it - I really dig all 3 modes. I thought my amp GAS had subsided for good - until I go into the local music store and find a pristine Heartbreaker combo selling for 700. This thing looks like it was never gigged - not a scratch on it. It...

Tyler Connolly's live rig - 2 ED heads!

One of the first professional guitar players I have seen using the mighty Electra Dyne. I wish I could have the two head setup he is using - it sounds amazing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5emv7lan0k

Will there be any Electra Dyne styled extension cabs?

Proud owner of a MB 1/12 Electra Dyne and can't help but think of how awesome it would look (and sound) to have an extension cab in the same retro styling as my ED. Does anyone know if Mesa is planning on doing this?

Has anyone replaced their tubes and/or switched to EL34's?

This is the first Boogie I have owned where I did not feel compelled to switch out the tubes - it sounds fantastic the way it is. That said, there is that little devil on my shoulder telling me that maybe I could make the amp sound even better. The ED already has a nice Brit thing going for...

The ED as an at home amp? Also - comparison to Express 5:25

I was wondering what your results have been running the Electra Dyne as an at home amp. I am not a gigging musician - I play soley at home for my own enjoyment. I need to keep the volume down to reasonable levels and was wondering what other ED owners think about their tone at lower levels. I...

Are you using any overdrive/booster/distortion pedals?

I have been thinking about getting something like the XOTIC BB Plus to lend a helping hand and help push the amp a bit (especially at lower volumes). I am curious to know if other Express owners have any experience with using such pedals with their setup and how that has worked out for them...
