Well, the $700.00 was 2 Golds with the Z open back 2 x12
Here in the US, the Golds look like they are $325.00 per.
That Z cab with the Golds is $1,137 new
Ocassionally I'll disconnect the combo speaker from my LSS 1 x 12 combo and run just the amp into a Dr. Z open back 2 x 12 with Celestion Golds.
The cleans are absoutely heavenly. Punchy (like the Blues) and very articulate (like the Blues)
Dirty, i really like the mids pushed and these...
Any functional differences between the LSC short head vs the long head? I seem to recll someone posting something about the reverb tank being different?
Thanks
Boogie LSC head. No 10 watt option. $950.00 including standard shipping.
Includes footswitch, cover, original materials. Excellent condition.

I have both: I even have an LSC head for sale if you're interested.
The beauty in the LSS is with single coil pups; I rarely use mine with humbuckers and ONLY if I'm going to play clean. I consider it pretty much a single coil only amp, buts it GREAT with the single coils.
The LSC sounds great...
Here's my spin:
1. The LSS (much like the EL-84 powered Z Maz 38) is a much better amp with a single coil guitar than a humbucker.
2. I'm fine with humbuckers CLEAN with the LSS. The more dirt. the less I like it. The attack gets spongy and muddy and it "splats" at attack. A PRS Cu 24 it...
I think the CLEAN tone coming out of the 5 watt option is the BEST "light, whispy" clean I've ever heard, especially at "normal speaking" volume.
Don't like it much when it gets dirty, but I LOVE it clean (and at low volumes)
My LSC head was a good amp thru a Dr. Z Z best 2 x 12 closed back cab with the mixed Celestions.
It became a GREAT amp through a Carr open back 2 x 12 with Eminence Patriot Speakers.
