Hi, I have exactly the same problem, changed v1, v2, v3, v5, v7 and I still get the noise. Did you solved this problem? I am starting to think this is a grounding problem, or its related to 60hz cycle hum.

Hi I also have an Electradyne combo (the short one) I am still using the 6L6 that came with the amp, and noticed also that the rear panel gets really hot. I am afraid some cables inside could melt down... Regarding the fans you mentioned... What kind of cooling fans are you talking about...

I have the same problem, mine is a electradyne medium model combo. I passed a long time but, cant figure it out. Tried mine, clean volume (back) all the way up, hi-low trim on. and still my vintage low setup is louder than my cleans. I had to pull up the volume knob on the front, to make the...
