Hi everyone,
I decided to pull out the Mark IV today. It has been a few years since I last played it. It is an early Mark IV a. I found that the footswitch will not change channels. The amp starts out on the lead channel. All the lights on the switch will change when selecting a different channel, but the amp will never change from lead.

The foot switch will turn the loop off and on. I just can’t change channels.

Also, the the rotary switch works through all channels. External switches also work. The FU-3 switch seems to be the only thing not working.

Has anyone else ran into this issue? Any ideas would help, thanks.

I had an issue once with mine when one of the wires came off the footswitch socket inside the amp. Based on the fact that you can still turn the loop on and off, this could be one possible explanation. You might also have a wire loose inside the footswitch itself, whether inside the enclosure or at the connector at the end of the cable.
