Hello Boogie Board.

I'm the owner of a Royal Atlantic 100W top head.

Unfortunately I have lost the cable for my footswitch, and in search of an alternative cable instead of the rather expensive ones from any Mesa supplier, I've tried with several cables to see if any matches.

I have tried with an unbalanced stereo jack 6,3mm ( male - male ) but that didn't do the trick.
A regular instrument cable ( mono cable ) didn't do the trick, either.

Does anybody know what type cable is used?

Kind regards,

Eladarian.

Hello.

If I am not mistaken a standard 6,3mm TRS - TRS cable should be the proper one.

Like this https://www.thomann.de/fi/cae_audiokabel_30.htm

That is exactly the same type of cable that I just bought today to test, which didn't work. Perhaps it needs to be an unbalanced cable?

Does it change channel/mode when shorting tip or ring to sleeve?

Channel switch in amp in clean mode?

Have you tested both ft sw plugs? (Front and rear?)
