I want to connect my Mark V into my DAW and record.

I am looking to take my signal from my Mark V preamp to a Rivera Rock Crusher attenuator (original version not the “Recording” version) and going into a Steinberg UR28M interface and then into my DAW. Within the DAW I want to use Two Torpedos Wall of Sound VST. Given that I am bringing the signal in post power amp (Mark V), I don’t need any amp simulation just speaker simulation in Wall of Sound.

Wondering if anyone here uses the Rock Crusher to record in their DAW and whether they have any tips on the set-up/routing.

I am coming out of the a Balanced Line Output from the Rock Crusher so I assume I would go straight into the interface with no need to use my DI Box (Radial J48) as it is already at line level. Please let me know otherwise.

Thanks

I use the rockercrusher with my mark v 90 and friedman jj jr and the routing is pretty straight forward. Take the rockercrusher's line out into your daw (may sure the levels aren't overloading there), then in your daw software, route the line in and apply speaker impulses via the torpedo. My interface is the babyface proc and I use no DI box, just the xlr out from the rockcrusher to the xlr in on the babface pro. My daw is fl studio and I use their fruity convolver to apply speaker sims.

Here's an example of the mark https://soundcloud.com/project-dome/metal-or-gtfo and one from the jj jr https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enz3M0NdKv4
