I have the LSC combo with the 10w option which is class A.
It's ok to my ears but as i am mostly a class AB guy i was thinking if it's posssible to install a triode switch to the 50w output, "deactivate" the 10w mode (not remove it) and use it's switch.
To my knowledge this would give roughly a 25w power output, is that right?
I know that there would be no big difference compared to 50w but i think it would be great for small places gigs to push a bit the power tubes.
I'm clueless about electronics and my concerns are if this mod will work with:
1) Tweed mode
2) Rectifier tube
3) 6v6 power tubes
which i would like to keep using them.
An amp with 100/50/25 watts output to my needs would be the ultimate tool to cover all places, from small clubs to arenas (well, i wish one day to play in one! :lol
Any info would be much appreciated!
