Hi all,

I recently got a used Mesa 4x12 Recitifer slant (oversize) cabinet.

I have a few questions about the black and white wires Mesa uses to connect the speakers.

First, where can I buy more of that wire?
Second, it does not appear to be copper wire (maybe its tinned); and it also appears to be solid wire (or at least very stiff). Is that right?
Third, it appears to be 16 awg, but perhaps it's 18 awg...

Any help correcting anything I got wrong above is greatly appreciated.

FYI, I am planning on re-wiring the top two speakers of the cab since I bought the cab with only 2 bottom speakers ... however, if there is another brand/gauge wire you guys recommend let me know.

Thanks for your help,
HG

Ok, I think I found it here; the "stranded core" Wire - 18 AWG Hook-Up, Twisted Pair, Insulated silver-plated copper wire. 105°C rating, 600V:
