Hey all, I've recently been using a Rectoverb 50. I really love the amp especially channel 2. My only complaint is that I'm struggling to maintain clean headroom when playing with the band. Cleans sound great playing by myself but when things get cooking I can't maintain an actual clean sound. The breakup that occurs is actually really nice sounding in its own right, but it's not a clean sound. The closest I've been able to get is running the gain extremely low, and diming the channel master, but I'm still getting power tube breakup when I crank up the global master.

Anyone have any recommendations to keep things clean? Perhaps a low gain tube in a certain position? What have you guys done to get a good clean sound at volume on your single rectos?
