Hi there.

Happy Fillmore 50 head owner saying hello.

I'm still far from being in need of a power tubes swap in my amp but looking for potential options.

I have found a lot of topics regarding TAD 6L6GC-STR but not a lot about 6L6GC-SVT. They are significantly more expensive than STR but being advertised as =C= and some of these still have the Winged C logo under the TAD logo on the tube glass.

Any input regarding this tube? I can get them matched to the bias range in my Fillmore just wondering if they worth premium cost

Love the forum BTW, thanks for keeping a good job

I will just add one more question to above as its sort of related.

I was offered a set of original =C= in the trade. Both testing strong in 104% but I'm not sure if they will be properly biased in my amp.

My Fillmore has set of STR440 10 AC GRN.

What parameters tube should have to be seen within 10 AC Green brackets?

As much as I can live with slightly hotter bias I don't really want to burn the **** out of those rare tubes. I probably won't be keen on cold biased amp either

Any input very welcome

Thx
