I bought a 6/83 Mkii amps that I thought was a C according to the serial number 11005. I was a bit shocked when I realized this amp is still on the RP9C preamp board. It has the flat black knobs, the gain boost pull switch and no pull switch in the bass knob. It is a XHRG that would need some refurbishment but that is still fully functional with very nice tones and a lot of gain. Caps are ordered. Only complaints is that I realized I won’t be able to convert it to a C+.
