I have to replace my 4x12 cab's back plate after it tipped over backwards with speaker cables plugged into it.
I noticed that the wire from the back plate is soldered in at the speaker end.
I am the world's worse when it comes to soldering!
Would crimping female connectors to the wires and then plugging them into the male ends at the speakers be OK to do?
