    Simul-class is 75, for the 300 series it's 150. JJ's work best since that is what mesa ships in their amps.

    The older 2 channel triples take a 6.25 amp SB fuse, the newer rev g triples are 4 amp. I have 2 of the older rev f triples.

    Mesa Boogie DC-5 "Pop" Sound on channel change... tubes???

    Same thing was wrong with my DC-5 head, I sent it to Mesa to get fixed and they sent it back to me, nothing was different, the popping noise was still there, Rich Duvall from Mesa told me it's just the way the circuit works, and it can't be fixed, so I sold it. Good luck

    EL84/6BQ5 Russian 5881 STR 425 Russian 6V6 STR 417 Chinese Sovtek's are made in Russia, JJ's are made in The Czech Republic, which Mesa is currently using for their 12AX7A. Only other company in Russia making 6L6 is/was Svetlana.

    the 'X' in my 'revG with revF specs' serial

    I have a '95 Dual chrome face #5674 with the F specs, but it's a G. Look on the motherboard underneath the big blue caps etched in gold. The date will be written in the corner. Never heard of the "X" in the serial.

    Your Triple is most likely a 3 channel, they stopped making 2 channel amps in 2000 and started the 3 channel. Revisions were only made during the 2 channel era.

    Footswitch for Mark III

    The switch in the left is for DC and Calibers and won't work with Mark III's. The switch on the right is correct.
