    Mesa Mark Series Comparisons! C++, 3's, 4's, V's & More!

    How about doing some vids highlighting the range of sounds available from these amps. Not all of us who have Boogies are metal heads and we use them for many different sounds. I appreciate what you have done with your vids but it would be nice to hear what these amps sound like with clean and...

    Mark 2C+ Voltage Gain in each stage

    I have a scope. I want to compare what I see on this amp, with what is normal on a Boogie. This is why I wanted to see waveforms and voltages from a genuine Mark 2C+. Finding anyone with access to a C+ in Australia is rather unlikely, so very difficult for me to compare.

    Mark 2C+ Voltage Gain in each stage

    woodbutcher65, Yes I have all of that info and I have already calculated the stage gains. I am interested in real life measurements, to see how they compare to the theoretical figures and how the waveforms look at each stage.

    50 Caliber+ (2x6L6) - Circuit Board Wanted

    Thanks for the link JD, But those PCBs will cost more than Au$300 by the time they reach Australia. Do you know anything about the seller or the quality of the boards? It is a lot of money to send to the Ukraine, to an unknown seller, for unknown PCBs.

    50 Caliber+ (2x6L6) - Circuit Board Wanted

    No, I haven't called Mesa Boogie. The reason is that I don't like the flexi PCB or the flimsy plastic standoffs, or the preamp valves mounted to the PCB. It just doesn't feel strong enough and the reliability is questionable, especially after seeing the repairs that had been done to try and...

    50 Caliber+ (2x6L6) - Circuit Board Wanted

    I have a (2x6L6) 50 Caliber+ in my workshop for repairs and unfortunately it is in very poor condition. The PCB is conductive in one section and is also in poor condition generally, with some dodgy mods added in and it is not really worth the cost, or the risk of future failures, to try and...
