Overture2005, hows the vert 2x12? How is the sound projection?
For sure, but I asked because a lot of people say bad things about it. Such as, "it doesn't sound like a Recto, it's too...," etc.
I'm sure it doesn't sound like one but is it really that bad as a unique tone?
See this is what I thought and wanted to hear.
I'd like to hear some peoples idea of a metal tone, cause it seems as though many use more gain/bass than I do. Don't know why either.

I have the 1960AV, but I'm interested in the Recto 4x12s. The Traditional one especially. Is the Trad. or Standard the same size as the Marshall?
I also have the Recto 2x12 horiz., but have to stand...
I usually use my 2x12 Recto cab with my DC-5 at home.
At practice I've used the 2x12, my 1960AV, and my Marshall MG 4x12.
The MG is obviously the worst, but it's the lightest to carry.
The 1960AV sounds really good, but sort of brighter+bigger sounding than the Mesa cab.
