A lot of people, including me. If it says "made in China" on it, then I won't buy it, unless it's not available from anywhere else.

I just did the mod last weekend. Before, it sounded like the speaker had the proverbial wet blanket over it. After the mod, it sounds cleaner and brighter; not nearly as muddy as it was before. It was easy to do as well. If you know how to solder, then it's a piece of cake.

As far as I know, the LSSes with serial numbers below ~4000 had "problems" with the recifier tube blowing frequently. That was fixed in the later models (serial numbers > ~4000). There is a mod to fix the recifier tube problem. I've read that the older NOS 5Y3 tubes are more stable than the...

I've got Lollar P90s in my Heritage H150. An excellent pickup! Smooth, creamy, and can get nasty if desired.

I used to have its cousin, a 1980 V2. It looked bad-***, but it didn't sound that well. It also had very shallow frets.
