The Phat mod is something done to Mesa Boogie 50/50 Stereo Power amp so it can achive more lowend when used with a Triaxis Preamp.

What Volume mod? what brand of tubes you have in the Power and preamp ? some Power tubes might add bass to your sound

Everybody talk about chines tubes are best for Mark iic+ and mesa in general, but nobody says which brand of Chinese preamp tubes and where they can be found? plus for v5 and v1 what preamp brand and model are the best modern tubes for that? please don't talk about NOS preamp tubes and power tubes.

Hello there, I see that your 4x12 cab its loaded with EVM's on the Bottom. So my question is; Since this cab is not Ported, how much this affect the sound, do you have any difficulty using the cab at loud volumes,your 4x12 cab its a halfback or Close back ?

You can get and RockMan midi octopuss or mini amp Gizmo and use a midifoot switch to control the Quad preamp or order a custom footswitch
