The new ones don't have the recto board at all dude so no phat mod or recto tones applies anyway. The recto mode is replaced with a british style lead. Here is the info i got direct from mesa 1st version released 1992 - no V2.0 Continuous Control TX4 Board (or recto board) added 1/25/1993...

Nope the phat mod was basically the second revision to the recto board, the new triaxis don't have a recto board at all so do not have a phat mod either.

Thanks so much, yes i have been told by mesa that there is no way i can make a new triaxis lead1red sound like the old one with the recto board. So i would really like to know the opinions of those people that have used both. If the new lead1red still has nice tight low bottom end crunch like...

Thanks for the reply, I used it fairly frequently I guess, but i also used all the other modes alot as well. And i don't know whether I would like the new mode better or just as much as the old ld1 red. It's a really hard decision, i guess the new lead1red is quite different to the recto board...

There are instructions on this forum as to how to reverse the phat mod, do a search, it's just a change of some caps & resistors i think, apparently less than an hour job for a tech.

Hi I recently bought a triaxis from the u.s. i live in australia so am looking for an online supplier of a 240volt power transformer for the triaxis so i can convert it. I am sure i saw a site with reasonable prices many months ago but can no longer find it, any help would be great.
