    MARK II HELP!

So I played with it for a few hours last night and this was also my first time playing a Boogie. It is **** near IMPOSSIBLE to get a bad sound out of that amp!

    MARK II HELP!

I finally bought my first Boogie! It's a Mark IIb with the Graphic EQ and the factory "post effects" mod? Anyways, give me any tips or tricks for dialing in cool overdriven tones?

    MK III Controls

On paper, the controls on the Mark III seem REALLY complicated. Is it actually that bad in person?

    Mark V & Pedals.

I love the distortion that the amp gets by itself. But. I like using Muffs and Muffy Fuzzes (EQD Hoof). How does the Mark V handle these?

Mark V 90w at Manageable Volumes?

I like having the 90 watts for the clean, but for the crunch and lead I'd like to have that liquid Mark V tone at lowish volumes. Not bedroom levels, but not ear splitting either. I play to crowds of usually 300 or less, with a plexiglass shield in front of the cab. So is the 45 watt setting on...

HELP! IM OVERTHINKING AND CAN'T STOP!

How would you describe the 2nd & 3rd channels on the TC-50 and JP-2C, and the differences in them? (sans 5EQ) I've watched videos but I like hearing "real peoples" thoughts on it. So much of the audio from the videos is dependent on the mic and mic placement, I don't fully trust them.

HELP! IM OVERTHINKING AND CAN'T STOP!

I'm selling my Dr. Z Remedy. I love it, and I can get AMAZING cleans from it, and pretty decent overdrive if I get the settings JUST right, but the issues I have with it are: 1) No Effects Loop, and I use a lot of delay so I can't overdrive the amp or the delays are too hairy. 2) Hard to find...

    HELP ME TAKE THE PLUNGE!

So, I'm selling my current amp. I love it but just not versatile enough. I would like at LEAST two channels. And I'm currently stuck between a TC-50 and a Lonestar. Gimme the Pros & Cons of both. I'm looking for great cleans, a thick rhythm, and syrupy lead tone. I use a BK Butler Tube Driver as...

    Speaker Suggestions?

Once I sell my current amp (Dr. Z Remedy), I'm gonna pick up a TC50 but would like to know what speakers sound best with this amp? I have a cab with Greenbacks and one with a G12H30 and a Creamback, both closed. But was planning on getting a Recto 2x12, but I'm just making sure thats the best...

Is The Mark V 90w Right For Me?

One quick question. As many of us here are, I am a huge fan of the Troochee. And I LOVE his lead tone. So fluid and not fizzy at all. Is this really how the Mark V sounds in Mark IIC+ mode? I know the guitar and my hands have a lot to do with it, but does the amp do it's part to get there?

Is The Mark V 90w Right For Me?

This helps tremendously because I play lead guitar in a worship band and I was wondering if it would work! I feel like the cleans would fit really nicely and the Liquid lead tone is exactly what I've been wanting and can't get out of my current amp.

Is The Mark V 90w Right For Me?

Explain the Variac thing a little more. I knoe it changes the power in some way but idk how it affects tone

Is The Mark V 90w Right For Me?

I know it can GET insanely loud, but does it still sound AMAZING with the master volume low and the gain cranked or is it one of those amps that require ridiculous amounts of volume to sound decent? And do the lower watt modes change your overall tone much? Cause I know that 45 watts is just...

Is The Mark V 90w Right For Me?

I play lead in my church band. But we don't play typical worship stuff, we MAKE it more rockin' cause, let's be honest, christian radio is pretty boring. So the Mark V seems perfect for me as far as tones! The clean! The crazy crunch, and that liquid lead tone! BUT! We run amps live on stage...

FS: Dr. Z Remedy Surf Green & Dr. Z Backline 2x12 Red

Head is in Mint condition! No wear cosmetically except MAYBE (like, I can't see any) a mark or two left behind by some gaff tape that I had rolled up and put on the top front ledge to stick picks on. But since its gaff tape, I can't see any residue. The amp has many hours of play time but not...

Best Delay for Mv in Fx Loop?

Sorry to revive this old thread. I too am a huge fan of the nova delay, and once I get my Mark V I wanna put it in the loop but how do you use the tap tempo when it's up by the amp? Or do you use longer cables? I'm just worried about the loss of high end due to long cables there.

    ANOTHER Thread About Speakers...

Okay, quick and to the point. I am about to buy a Boogie. Either a V90, V35, or JP-2C. Havent decided. BUT I know that they all have that IIC+ tone in there somewhere and thats what I want. That liquid Petrucci lead tone with nice rhythm and cleans as well. I currently own 2 different 2x12...

    Mark V and Axe-Fx

Petrucci did this at one point in time I know. And you know his tone is great so..
