How does swapping V2 in the 25w Mark V equate to what is being talked about in that thread? If I've read the thread correctly, V4 and V6 in the 90w Mark V are being swapped out with the 12at7. Here is what that manual says about the 90w tube layout: V4A- Reverb Driver/Send V4B- 4th Gain Stage...

My footswitch solo light is non-functional. I've checked the cable and sockets, each end looks good and I can see the socket contacts in each socket hole. Does anyone have experience with MB support? Do they prefer to get the item back or will they be OK with me opening up the switch to take...

Not sure if the OP is still around but I'm curious, how many hours on the amp when it began to fail? Doesn't most solid state stuff fail very soon after putting power to it or not at all? (unless of course an external event triggers it.)
