Anyone Playing A Mark l Reissue?

I'm interested in the Mark l Reissue and have been scouring for sale ads here in Canada, hoping to be able to find one in my area to try before I buy. I'm looking for either a head or the combo. I can't find any dimensions or weights on these. I'm thinking the combo is pretty heavy,so the best...

I "Downgraded" from Mark V to Mark 1

I've been on the lookout for a MKlRI. I think the amp comes in at 55lbs., which may be a bit heavy for my senior body to be lugging around. Dropping a neo speaker in it could bring it down to a lighter weight in the 46lb. range. I have owned a Mark V and it was a superb amp,but the compactness...

Anyone Replace C90 In 5.50 Express+ With A Neo Speaker?

Thanks for chiming in. I still haven't made a move but am still considering a 5.50+ combo and putting a neo in it. I've heard a lot of good things about the Lil Texas speakers and they're really reasonably priced.

I'm going to check out this combo, but am wondering if the loop is pre reverb or post reverb. I'm hoping it is pre reverb. Thanks.

    Express series being cancelled?

That's what I've heard also. Humbucker has them on sale right now. Boogies never go on sale,so you know when they're clearing them out, that the end is near.

Anyone Replace C90 In 5.50 Express+ With A Neo Speaker?

I've heard good things about the Neo Creamback too. I've considered a 5.25 Express Plus, but like the 5.50 plus better. I wish Mesa would come out with a 35 lb. Kingsnake.

Anyone Replace C90 In 5.50 Express+ With A Neo Speaker?

Thanks for replying. I haven't bought the 5.50 + yet. I really like the combo vs head and cab. Not sure which direction I'll go yet..

Anyone Replace C90 In 5.50 Express+ With A Neo Speaker?

I'm currently on the lookout for a more grab n go type of combo and really like the 5.50 + combo. At 54 lbs. the 5.50 is more lug n go for my 63 year old body. The C90 is 13 lbs. A speaker like the Emminence Lil Texas is 3.5 lbs. That brings the weight down to roughly 45 lbs. Anyone try this?

Got A Boss FS-6 Dual Footswitch For My Mark V

Got A Boss FS-6 Dual Footswitch For My Mark V

I needed a small pedal to be able to switch between Channels 1,2 and 3. I run my amp hard bypassed with EQ and Reverb always on,so the the big V footswitch was kind of redundant. Looked at a few pedals online and considered Midi, but that was overkill for me too. Got home today from my local...

    Mark V Reverb delay

Sounds good Mycle. Nothing left to do now but explore the V and rock on.

The V is a great amp. Congratulations.

    Mark V Reverb delay

Hey Mycle, It sounds like you are going to keep the amp. If so,congratulations. Just for fun,run the amp with the loop hard bypassed. The popping is near silent in that mode. Just be careful as there is a huge volume increase when using your channel masters with the loop hard bypassed.

    Mark V Reverb delay

Not sure why I made you laugh....but laughing is good. Sounds like you're returning the amp. Nothing wrong in that. The new TC-50 is midi capable and sounds good. Maybe it would work better in your situation. I wish you all the best in finding the amp that is right for you.

    Mark V Reverb delay

I typed a post and must of hit a wrong button, but will do it again. I have a Mark V. Yes there is a delay in reverb of maybe a second or two. I treat the V as three separate amps,so will rarely switch channels in a song. For me the reverb loss is basically inconsequential. I also run an always...

    Got one

Hey Daniel, I had asked you about the Mark V loop last month and then decided to do some testing. My only effect is a Nemesis delay. I moved it up to the front of the amp. In this way I have delay pre the Mark V reverb. I hard bypassed the fx loop. Yes,I'm going to run my amp this way. First of...

Question..Re:Running Mark V Loop Active Without Effects

When loop active is engaged without effects in the loop do you run a short patch cable from send to return or does the Mark V automatically take care of this.
