Dimensions same between maverick and marks I to IV?

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows whether the dimensions for Maverick 1x12 combo are the same as the mark combo's 1 through to 4, (excluding widebody). I have an opportunity to buy a maverick which has a flight case and would be interested to know if I could use it for my IIC? Cheers.

I think I just fried my amp.

Make sure you've unplugged the effects return jack? Still doesn't make sense the drive channel works and clean don't. Download the manual and see if one of the preamp valves is unique to the clean channel, if so try that one first. Interesting where you say your signal chain was 'Guitar - pedal...

Studio Caliber lead channel goes out after 5 minutes???

Sounds like dirty send receive jack connector issues. Bridge the send to receive using a short lead and let us know if this doesn't fix the problem. Had similar issue with the 22, sounded good for a while then just dropped volume and all weird.

    Studio 22

My 22 drop's its guts after power down sometimes also. How rude! I have never noticed this to cause any issues when in use. Just like yours mine is a little noisy but nothing significant. My new gear is so much quieter.

    Mark V Channel 2 Problem

Have you tried direct channel selection without the footswitch? Just an idea.

Mesa Boogie MKIII limited Edition resoration....

I don't get the difference between vintage or signature series amps versus guitars. Personally I think these should go hand in hand, however amps never seem as consistent. I should point out that I own a signed mesa, but it was not purchased purely as an investment...to be pried from my dead...

Mark V live again... VH time!

I agree with Wayno, it's a very clean sound, especially considering you're all in the same room. On second listening (yes I posted my comment after only one run through), I think the dynamics are actually consistent and you are together with the feel, just that part after the solo there is some...

Mark V live again... VH time!

I like your tone and the whole band sound when all instruments are playing. If you recorded this live can you share what the mic or di arrangements were and which DAW? not just for your amp? I wasn't keen on some of the dynamics but you're pulling a great sound and at least you are doing it...

Mesa Boogie MKIII limited Edition resoration....

It does look awesome now, if it was as poorer condition, then you really had no choice. Nice save. I was hoping you were were in Australia, so that maybe it might come on the market here one day. I'd be interested to know how many if any of the limited edition 3's were made for export. Anyone know?

Mesa Boogie MKIII limited Edition resoration....

Where are you? I never realised mesa did limited edition mkIII's either. The timber looks awesome, you've given it a great finish. Personally I'd have left it as is, dull and all. But that's just me.

How would you rate the cleans on the mark v?

Hi, Just wondering how long since you've changed the power tubes and have you always thought the same about your cleans or has something changed? I really like the cleans in the V. During rehearsal once while getting a song down, I had a basic clean sound going, likely had the guitar vol...

    Guess the Mesa amp :)

Not my kinda calamity but I really like those high notes quietly chiming through in the first 8 bars or so. I really like how you got that sound, awesome. Because I think your gonna surprise us with something out of left field, I'm having a guess that you're doing this on a IV.

Need Help With Studio 22 Tune-Up

Hi, lucky you have a 22, probably going to be awesome once you've finished with the tune-up I've received my share of help from this forum it's a great source of information. The manual states valve position 4 is the reverb tube. Just replace that one if I were you, this may fix reverb...

attenuator and cab simulation for recording

Nice poll question Bandit. In a few weeks a friend of a friend will receive the new Fryette Power Station ll and he has invited me to it out. I will be getting one if the line out sounds good and is what I think it is. The PSll comes with di unlike the original. He said he sold his original last...

Help needed for preamp valve positions and gain sequences.

Hi ATR1, Great description of the sound. Funny that it only occurs only on the g and that it came back. I also got i a bit on the b string. I think it's a mix between the frequency, break up of the channel, fact these are not wound strings, and pickups. I'll be interested to see how your tube...

    F50 Rear Valve Mesh Protector

Hi Paul, Are you wanting the mesh to keep the amp original, aesthetics? Or, do you need it to actually protect the valves from people, or people from the valves? Unless you have small kids about the amp will operate fine and is relatively safe without the mesh protector. My MkII doesn't have...

Help needed for preamp valve positions and gain sequences.

I'd hung this thread out to dry for a while. Just wanted to close off, the problem appears to be due to my guitars specifically SSS Strats. But not all of them. My Tokai and Ibanez do make the sound, even after a setup and new strings. SRV American Strat no noise! Really loving my TeleDelux...

Trying to Capture the Boogie, man.

Hi Barry. Have you chosen something to go with? I've also only recently decided to record some tunes. Re-amping sounds an interesting assuming this requires recording a main dry signal sending back out to an unbalanced 1/4 jack. As Michael posted you will need a device that can get the signal...
