well, new product aren't better reliable tone tube as it was at tube's age, new sensor best are tung sol and maybe mullard made by russian sovtek factory the rest is awfull! better get old used tubes

hi, just discovered that last stage of pre amp is EQ transistor cascade stage , and signal path through it, EQ used or not ! at the output of this stage these is a coupling cap , not a life time sprague film one, but an electrolytic 1uf , at this small value this part last not so great...

hi Jordan, don't worry, you just have to check if inners tube pin 3 are still connected to the OT, and other tap wire than external tubes! and check the mesa part number of the OT to be the good one it could be just connecting class A swtch after all ! good luck
